                Every effort is made to use reclaimed wood, some of it coming from furniture listed in online ad's freebie sections.  Mesquite, ash and acacia are milled  from local trees that have died or been blown down by Tucson's notorious monsoon microbursts, while  woodworking stores supply the exotics.  Preferring to let wood speak for itself, the

                Every effort is made to use reclaimed wood, some of it coming from furniture listed in online ad's freebie sections.  Mesquite, ash and acacia are milled  from local trees that have died or been blown down by Tucson's notorious monsoon microbursts, while  woodworking stores supply the exotics.  Preferring to let wood speak for itself, the artist uses only food grade natural oils, wax, and epoxy for finishes on boards, and clear laquer for the rest- rarely paints or stains. Glass and leather come from reused/repurposed thrift store finds.
